How we handle your data
JEMapper is in development. Early adopters help shape it by sharing real input reports and creating a sandbox login for MeravaWorks, if available.
While JEMapper is in early access, MeravaWorks processes your reports by hand. Everything below applies to that period. Once you use JEMapper yourself, see the last section.
What to expect
- You'll get an invitation to a secure folder, shared only with the people you name. Please don't send reports by email.
- You upload your input reports. We upload the output for testing in your NetSuite sandbox.
- Before we release an output file, we test it by importing one transaction into your sandbox and then reversing it.
Before you upload
- Don't include card numbers, Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or passwords. Mask them first. If private data is received, we will immediately delete the file and alert you.
- Payroll reports are acceptable as long as salary and other payroll data can't be traced to a single person.
- If your company requires an NDA, we'll sign yours or provide ours.
What we do with your reports
- We build the mapping and validate the output against your report.
- We may make an anonymized copy, with names, data and identifying details replaced. Anonymized copies are used to build and test JEMapper and may appear as examples.
How long we retain original reports
- Your original reports, and the outputs built from them, are deleted within 30 days of your mapping being finalized, or sooner if you ask. We confirm the deletion in writing.
Sandbox access
- MeravaWorks will only access your sandbox environment, not production.
- MeravaWorks will provide the permissions required for the sandbox role. You can revoke access at any time. We will never request anyone's password.
- A sandbox refresh removes our login, so we'll ask you to recreate it if one happens mid-project.
Once you use JEMapper yourself
- JEMapper doesn't keep the reports you upload. It reads them to build your entry and keeps only your mapping.
- The entry it builds is kept only until you export it.
- JEMapper keeps an audit trail for 7 years showing which file produced each output, who uploaded it, and who approved it. The files themselves stay in your own file system. That record holds no report contents.
